Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Karolina and Nabil, it all started at the gym. When Karolina asked Nabil for a little help with her training to become personal trainer, a spark was lit. What began as friendship soon grew into something much deeper, and it wasn’t long before they found themselves inseparable.
Nabil chose one of the most breathtaking spots in Sussex to propose—the dramatic Seven Sisters cliffs at Birling Gap. Against the backdrop of crashing waves and endless skies, he asked the question that would lead them to their wedding day. The couple chose not to have an engagement shoot, making their wedding day the first time I photographed them professionally as a couple.
Their wedding day was all about intimacy and meaning. With just their closest family and a few dear friends, Karolina and Nabil exchanged vows at the elegant Brighton Town Hall. At Brighton Registry Office, ceremonies are typically held in a single main room, and the flow of the day is very structured. Confetti is done immediately outside after the ceremony, and timing is important because access to indoor areas for photography is limited and often restricted after you leave.
Couple portraits are usually done straight after confetti, often using internal features like staircases if permitted, as re-entry into ceremony spaces is not always possible later in the day.
This makes the post-ceremony timeline very important: confetti → immediate couple portraits → group photos.
