Capturing Hannah and Douglas’ wedding at the iconic Brighton Bandstand was an absolute joy. From their very first date on Brighton Beach to their romantic seaside proposal, every milestone in their journey together was tied to the coast. When they asked me to be their Brighton wedding photographer, it was a privilege to preserve such a meaningful celebration.

Getting Ready at the Mercure Hotel | Brighton Wedding Prep

I started the day at the Mercure Hotel Brighton, photographing Hannah as she got ready surrounded by her closest family and friends. With the sea just steps away and views of the promenade setting the tone, the atmosphere was intimate and filled with anticipation. These prep shots captured the excitement and emotion leading up to their seaside ceremony.

A Romantic Brighton Bandstand Ceremony | Seaside Wedding Photography

The Brighton Bandstand, affectionately known as the Birdcage Bandstand, provided the dreamiest backdrop for Hannah and Douglas’ vows. I captured every moment of their intimate ceremony—the ornate Victorian architecture, the soft sea breeze, and the genuine emotion as they pledged their lives to one another. For Hannah and Douglas, this was more than a venue; it was the beach where they had shared their first date, their engagement, and their engagement shoot.

Intimate Wedding Moments | Brighton Wedding Photographer

With just their closest loved ones present, I focused on capturing heartfelt details—from the tender looks between the couple to candid reactions of their family and friends. My goal was to preserve the story of their day in a way that felt natural, romantic, and authentic. Intimate Brighton weddings like theirs are perfect for photography that tells a story from start to finish.

Reception at The Seahorse | Brighton Seafront Wedding Photography

After the ceremony, we moved to The Seahorse for the reception. I captured the laughter, the speeches, and the joyful moments against the backdrop of Brighton’s seafront. The relaxed yet elegant atmosphere allowed me to document candid shots that perfectly complemented their seaside wedding theme.
